今作は「転校生」「時をかける少女」等を手がけた
映画監督の大林宣彦氏が担当。

別々の道を歩み出す友達に贈る
心温まるメッセージが込められた、
ミディアムテンポが心地よい楽曲です。

This is the 6th single released by AKB48 that sings of Cherry Blossoms.
The title, “So long!” shows that instead of “Good-bye”, you can “see each other again”. 
This work is directed by Nobuhiko Obayashi, who is known for his films, “Tenkousei (Transfer Student)” and “Toki o Kakeru Shoujo (The Girl Who Lept Through Time)”.
This comforting, medium tempo song is filled with the heartwarming message that is sent to that friend who is parting on to a different road.
