Welcome to Biertap.eu.
00:10.3
00:13.4
Today I am going to show you how to connect your beer cooler to a beer keg.
00:13.5
00:15.1
I have all the parts here.
00:15.2
00:19.3
The beer tap, a mini co2 bottle with a co2-metre,
00:19.4
00:24.2
The dispense head, tubes, and of course the beer keg!
00:24.3
00:29.7
At first we take the dispense head and connect them to the John Guest connector.
00:29.8
00:34.6
This is to make the connection with the beer keg.
00:36.0
00:44.5
Next up, this John Guest connector. This one goes at the side of the dispense head, and is for the CO2 connection.
00:46.4
00:49.0
Screw them hand-tide, that’s more than enough.
00:49.1
00:57.1
And this little connector goes on the CO2 metre.
00:58.0
01:03.0
And here goes the same; hand-tide is more than enough.
01:05.4
01:09.1
After that we’ll take the beer tube…
01:12.6
01:23.0
After you prepared the dispense head and all the tubes, you’ll connect the beer tube in the back of the beer cooler.
01:25.0
01:27.6
Make sure you’ll press it well until it ‘pops’.
01:29.3
01:40.5
We’ll turn the beer dispenser and we’ll take our dispense head. If it’s up, it’s open.
01:40.6
01:45.4
01:45.5
01:50.3
01:50.4
01:53.5
After that, you’ll connect it on the beer keg.
01:53.6
01:57.1
Turn the dispense head a little.
01:57.2
02:04.6
You’ll connect the cooler with electricity after you’ve connected the beer keg.
02:04.7
02:07.6
After that you’ll need to tweak the pressure with the CO2 bottle.
02:07.7
02:15.4
With a dry cooler, in this case a Pygmy 25, it’s a good idea to start with a bar of 2,3.
02:15.5
02:20.3
I’m going to set it a little bit higher.
02:20.4
02:23.0
02:23.1
02:28.5
Now we’ll wait until the cooler stalls, then it will be on the right temperature.
02:28.6
02:32.0
With a dry cooler like this, it would be about 5 minutes.
02:32.1
02:36.9
And then you’ll be ready to tap some beers!
