what is a buyer request? for all those who don't know what is a buyer request on fiverr

it is a section, where buyer post their requests

suppose a buyer don't have enough time to chat first

search different gigs, and then do a chat and then hire

instead fiverr give him an option of buyer request, now what he'll do

he'll add all his details and tasks, that this is my requirment

I want a person according to my requirments

and fiverr ask him to mention the category

then he selects a category, and then all the freelancers in that category

and then that request is visible to all of them

now if you're a new seller, means your didn't acheived level 1 or level 2

and you don't have any badge, then you'll get the least buyer requests,

its not like, they'll not be visible, they'll be visible but very minimum

For this you need to be active on fiverr and you need to keep on checking

analyze it yourself, but if you talk about Pakistani time then

after evening 7,8o'clock buyer requests keep on posting till night 1,2 or 3o'clock

so this is the time according to me,but analyze it yourself too when you see buyer requests

and then you can apply to these jobs

Secondly,a problem faced by a newbie is that buyer requests are not visible to him initially

and when it is visible, he says, I don't know to do this, I can not do this work

he starts asking different people, how to do this project?

Its not necessory, that you can do every job posted there

suppose a buyer needs a web developer, he needs a coder, but

you make websites on wordpress, and solve its issue, but you don't know how to code

but the person who is uploading a buyer request, has already selected web development's category

he has selected web development category

now fiverr will show that requests to all of the gigs in that category

and its possible that you saw the same request, because your category is also web development

but its not relavent to you, so don't panic

only bid on a relavent post, in which you're 100% sure

bid means writting your proposal, and sending your request

don't send a proposal to every request, in order to just get a response

even if you get a response, then what will be the benefit, you wasted his time and own time too

So thats why, first read the buyer request, if you're 100% sure that you can do it

then send a proposal

Now the thing is how to bid, and how to write a proposal

First of all, read the buyer request 3 to 4 time thoroughly

then try to understand what is the issue of the client, suppose he want his website's audit

he's facing some issues in Seo, or speed of the website, or suppose he mentioned

I've speed issue, I want to optimize it and it has some Seo problems too

want to solve indexing issues or any other issues, now you're an Seo expert

You are a master of your skill, but you don't know how to write a request

and what you're writting, I have that much experience, I know everything, this and that

now you're thinking that I've mentioned my experience

my certification and everything, now buyer will definitly hire me

he'll not even give you a reply, because you didn't even tried to identify his problem

and you didn't even addressed his problem

suppose you are sick, you consult a doctor, and tell him that I am not feeling well

now if doctor don't address your problem and don't even have a look at you

and he says, I have 10 years of experience, I've treated many patients,I've even treated the bones too

and you'll say, I am not here for the treatment of my bones, I am here because I am sick

and he keeps on saying, listen to me only I've treated so many patients

and he's still talking about himself,you're already in problem, moreover he's not even addressing you

same this mistake is done by many freelancers, who thinks they are expert in their field

they ignore these things, and make mistakes, its alright, everyone makes mistakes that's why you're watching this course

so that you can correct your mistakes. Now what you have to do, as buyer mentioned that he's facing speed issues

he might have gave you URL or a link. Go to that link, identify the problem

examine what are the problems, and what problems you can fix. Make a list of all those

and then write all these things in the proposal.

mention his name, his company's or website name if he mentioned it in the request

mention his company's name so that he know, that you've visited his website

and then tell him that I've visited your profile, and I saw that it has speed issues

these issues can be fixed, your images size is bigger, your text is not optimized

your fonts are not correct, your layouts are not correct, whatever the issues are, address them

Now you have addressed the issues, now give him the solution too, buyer knows his website has speed issues

you told him, now tell him how you can fix them

then tell him these are the issues and I can fix them

and then address yourself at the end, tell him you have experirence

I've certifications, and I can perform this task for you

if you write a perposal like this, then tell me, how much chance do you have after this

you've addressed buyer's problem, visited his website

and then understood his problem and provided him the solution too

and then told him about yourself that i am eligible
