I bet you didn't expect to see me this week, right? Stay tuned.

I couldn't let the winter break go by without visiting with you about school district operations during the holidays.

While our students and most staff are enjoying some much deserved time off...

...other Klein ISD folks, like maintenance, information technology, and plant operations are still working hard.

I want to thank each of them for their dedication to making our schools beautiful and ensuring our systems are in tip-top shape!

Marcee and I also wanted to tell the Klein ISD community how welcome you have made us feel during these six months.

The time has flown by and every minute has been exciting and rewarding.

Getting to experience the awesome work that's done every day for our students has been the highlight for me.

As I reflect on where the district is at the end of 2016, I'm amazed at what we have already done together.

I appreciate that you have shared your voices by answering multiple surveys and given all of us terrific insight into this wonderful and caring community.

As we continue growing into our shared vision, I look forward to see where we go with and for our students!
